The cake smash background is customized for your child’s theme with colors to coordinate with the party.

Cakes are *NOT included.* However I can offer recommendations for bakers that I work with frequently.
If bringing your own cake I suggest it be 6” in diameter, with no fondant, or candies as those are harder for little hands to get through. I suggest putting the cake on a cake board for easy transportation and moving the cake to a cake stand. I do have a couple of cake stands that can be used.

Splash Session $30
After the cake smash, we will place the toddler in a warm tub full of water and maybe bubbles to clean up. I get a few quick shots of splash time; it is time to wash the model and wrap them in a big fluffy towel. You snuggle them, dry them off and take them home.
Family Session $30
Family photos will be taken first with the toddler in the non-messy outfit and include one plain backdrop and only one outfit for parents and siblings.

What is a Cake Smash session?
Cake Smash Sessions are perfect for little ones 11 months to a year old, and are a fun messy time. Most of my cake smashes are simple setups which include a neutral backdrop with minimum accessories and balloons. They take more time to clean/set up, but are a lot of fun!
Where will my session take place?
Most cake smash sessions are Indoor sessions that will take place in my home studio, and I’m more flexible with times for indoor sessions. If you prefer an outdoor setting, I have a whole list of location inspiration that I can send you once you book your session with me.
What is your turnaround time?
Approximately 1-2 weeks after your session you will be emailed a link to your online gallery. From there you can choose your favorites, order print products, or purchase additional digital files.
Why is the cake not included?
The cake is NOT included due to liability with potential food allergies. If bringing your own cake I suggest it be 6” in diameter, with no fondant, or candies as those are harder for little hands to get through. If you need recommendations for a baker, I have a few that I have worked with and photographed their work.
Can I customize my Cake Smash set?
Absolutely! You and I will work together to coordinate a theme for the cake smash set. This theme can be almost anything, even just colors. contact me with more questions.
Do You Offer Discounts?
Yes, I do offer military discounts. I will occasionally run a special sale on specific packages going on. Please feel free to reach out with other questions.
